Hey I’m always talking shit. But it’s all for the good of human kind. I think? Best thing is we all get to know what to expect from each other and at least I can tell when someone may be having trouble at home and is just reflecting that shit here. I doit sometimes. Why won’t y’all just listen to me and stop having ph issues lol. J/k

I usually visit Stonington every year, I'll probably pick up a couple bags from the source. Curious to give it a try!

'Your opinion of me has nothing to do with me.' I like that.
Offense? I get all sorts of emotions and emotional outbursts and crud, but I don't know true offense.

Gingerbeard the explanation you just posted has got me real tickled here, seriously funny. Imagining seeing my post as the initial question and not a reply to UberMensch. That being said, I wanted to clarify my stance on something. I didn’t take “offense” at any time. I think the notion of “taking offense” to everything is a relatively new phenomenon that has had nothing but negative repercussions. My feelings don’t matter, nor do yours for that matter. If anyone has found this to be a rant, well maybe. Back to Donald Fagen…

G2F, it's okay to say something like that about someone else's balls. Not your own. Makes it too personal. Should any of us who read that meet you, we would only be able to think about your... spacing.

Hi UberMensch I loved it, but I got sick, hospital for 9-10 days, my beautiful plants died from lack of water. I intend to use it again when the seeds I ordered arrive. I bought another bag of SB but I should also be able to reuse some soil from the aborted grow. I used their potting soil for seedlings, and herbs and flowers. A seasoned grower on here used SB with pH'd water only for a grow as an experiment, he said he intended to add Ca or cal-mag to it next time. I added a little bit of perlite to mine.
I had two Northern Lights autos growing when I grew the dwarf. I'd like to be able to describe the difference between the two plants better but my cat topped the other one when it was too young, chewed on young leaves when my back was turned. But I harvested a half ounce that actually got me high, from that one. That seed produced twins, I waited to decide which one to cull/keep, it was a week or so behind. Sounds genetic.

Puglover1 - I'm sort of glad to hear that it was not just me! By the way, how do you like the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend?

Had a girlfriend accuse me of having internodal separation once. Thought she was talking bout the gap between my balls.

Now... now I understand. Yes. Now, I understand.
Off to find a shiny thing.

Weird. That's worse than my Northern Lights auto (bastard). Four inches 'tall' when harvested. It was tight-noded, topped and pretty much stopped, but not like that. I got an 1/8th out of the whole plant.

UberMensch you are correct my friend. That's gardening 101. My grampa used to put 4 corn seeds in each hole. Had a saying. One for the sparrow one for the crow one for the groundhog and one to grow.....or something like that.

Going2fast - Yes. Based on my limited knowledge of phenotypes I am leaning toward that conclusion myself. I have read where other folks plant a couple extra seeds more than the number they want to grow, then pick the most healthy ones to continue the grow. I suspect this is the reason.
All part of the learning process I suspect......
Thanks for the feedback.Last edited by UberMensch; 02-04-2022, 04:42 PM.

Thanks Jebidiah - I did swap places with one of the other plants just before I topped it and before all of the new (tortured) growth came out.
