Water run off from smart pots

I am using 7 gallon fabric Smart Pots with 14 inch saucers to catch extra water, after watering do I remove excess water from saucers? I have not used these smart pots before. Thank You for all your help on this.... CC Bud......

CC yes, remove the water for sure. I use 5 gal smart pots and 14" saucers. I lift the pots back and forth into saucers til there is no puddle. You could also use a wet shop vac to suck it out. Your saucers for draining are best if there is a 2" margin- then once drained can go back into smaller ones if space is limited. I usually have a 10-30% runoff.

I don't use saucers. I put the pot over a tray water it and then let it drain till its stops dripping. Then i put it back in the tent directly on the liner.

SSD is right...take the time to drain well. His process is likely more efficient.
You can see my process on either journal of mine. Lifting 2 plants out of tent ( have 8 plants) at a time, feed, drain, and back into tent. But in lifting plants to sink I can also examine, defoliate, LST at waist level 360

I'm going to put a rack in before next grow so I don't have to move the plants. I'm going to use trays under the rack and a wet vac to empty the water.

I as well am leaning towards a small drainage rack in tent...full time...I have bamboo sticks under my pots in saucers so air can flow under pot as well...

Well, for the Entrepreneur's in this forum, there's your next project-- self draining racks for the bottom of grow tents, unless they have them already?

they actually do....I might just buy one...it's a tray with raised notches in it for draining fits in floor of tent perfectly.....it's like an ebb n flo tray....it is actually...

I use closet storage rack thingies off amazon in plastic tubs from the 99c store. Because it's generally dry here I sometimes leave run-off in the tubs to help increase humidity in my tent. These are 3 gallon smart pots.
