How are you getting those sharp trichome closeup pics?

I saw Nebula recommended snipping off a bit and putting under a microscope in one of the tutorials but I see a lot of really nice photos in-situ. How do you do it?

I use a digital microscope, amazon 20 bucks, plugged in a lap top. I just stick the probe/camera lens in the bud. Or just snip a chunk out put it on a plate and study it at my desk Click image for larger version

I Use both the lens clip for my phone and the cheap Amazon microscope about 50-60$(Can) for both. The are great if your serious , but I’ve found some sort of tripod is a big help, even a makeshift one. It can be really hard to keep still enough at that magnification. Don’t forget to turn off all tent airflow before pics (also remember to turn on again).

Thanks for the pics. Those are great. Were those with the clip on phone lens or the microscope?

These were micro I think , I use the clip on lense for quick checks and the microscope for pics

I got the Xenvo MysticMimi suggested. A big improvement but this is the best I've managed so far using it along with my S21 Ultra. Have a mic stand on order - should help...

Nice! the stand will help a lot. I’ve even used a dollar store phone holder, clipped to my tent pole or a chair as a stand

I finally managed to get a good money-shot. Ended up with a 5MP USB digital eyepiece which I put in an inspection scope I use in the shop. Was able to use it with my phone so no need to pull out the laptop.

This is my ChemDawg I recently harvested. Currently on the third week of curing. Gonna resist temptation for another week then try it out. Most trics are clear but there are numerous amber. Hope I didn't harvest too soon...
