I can tell you why. Its like a scar/reaction to a fantastic growth. So a good healthy stem will grow rapidly demanding a greater flux of water and nutrients. So they grow at the point that look swollen. But its like a food super highway. It translates into better growth and better weight support

        Great looking plants, what strains?

to be honest that is good, it means the stems are prepping to grow. It is natural for the plant to do this, it looks really good and i feel that when seeing this you will have a beautiful stem.

        Howdy Vapo69,
I have found that if enough light reaches the nodes, buds and or branches will form. On one of my current ladies, there are branches growing out where a leaf is and it has buds on it.
        Smoke weed,.....grow peace!

That is only one plant, very bushy, I do not do as much defoliation as others do. I'm using four 55 watt (actual wattage) CFLs, two at 2700K and two at 5000K. I like the CFLs, less expensive, less heat, and they last a long time (I've only had to replace four in the last two and a half years (three burned out and one just got dimmer than the rest and I replaced it anyway). I'm using aluminum foil on the walls and I believe that is what is responsible for the 'bushiness' of the plants, plus it keeps the aliens from taking control!! LOL!

Hello again......upon further inspection of my happiness garden.....I discovered that my white widow auto fem is displaying the same (symptoms?)As the onyx auto fem.....the WW is 23 days old.......could this be a response to light defoliation?...πŸ˜‚
