Hello old friends! Hope all is well with everyone and I hope you're staying safe. It's been a little while so I thought I'd pop in and give you all an update on what I have going on now.
I'm still in the small RV and have had a lot of improvements since I've been in here. Electric has been upgraded, water and everything has also been upgraded and I am staying fairly warm so far this winter. Luckily it has been a fairly mild winter so far, cold (got to -10 the other night) but not too much snow yet. Anyway, on to the part you guys actually care about. 😂
I wasn't having much luck with my autoflowers. I had an Alaskan Purple that got eaten twice, but still gave me 5-7g I think. I didn't actually weigh it so I'm not really sure. I also planted a Zkittlez autoflower and ended up over-watering them both so I didn't get a lot from either one.
So long story kind of short, I decided to go back to photoperiod strains. I planted a Critical Orange Punch and a Grand Daddy Purple on November 14. The GDP didn't take so I tossed it and got another going right away, that's why it's so much smaller than the other one. I don't want them to be too tall so I topped the Critical Orange Punch just above the third node on December 1. Since I'm doing 2 strains, I only wanted the 2 main branches (instead of quadlining like I usually do) so I got rid of everything under the third node. Still growing it out sideways so I just tied it down for the second time. Not sure what I will end up with since I'm limited on space, but we'll see. The GDP is almost ready for the first topping, I just want it a little bit bigger so maybe a few more days. Hoping I have enough weed to last until these are done.
For those of you who are interested in my setup...
Or for those stoners who forgot 😂
2x2x4' tent with a Mars Hydro TS600 (100W actual)
2 gallon plastic pots with no extra holes
Mother Earth soil blend (I forgot the names of the ones I mixed)
No added nutrients
Well water, not even sure what the pH level is
Using plant ties for training
