    What Strain would you pick?

The Leafly Strain of the Year 2021 is Dosidos!

    December 8, 2021

Cannabis lovers, do the happy dance: the Leafly Strain of the Year 2021 is Dosidos!

From coast to coast, in the streets and online, Dosidos showed off this year. This flashy, pungent, maximum-strength indica hybrid cross of OG Kush and GSC earned our highest annual award after an independent review of search trends, menu prevalence, awards, and expert analysis.

Why is Dosidos Leafly Strain of the Year?

We gave Dosidos Leafly’s highest honor in 2021 because:
    • With deep purple leaves sleeted with potent resin, Dosi resets the bar for bag appeal.
    • Its rowdy fuel smell and big flavors last long after the joint burns.
    • Dosi’s room-spinning effects can sit down some of the highest tolerance smokers.
    • It’s a dream to grow, so growers and breeders love it.
    • Dosidos and its crosses have won, placed, or showed in pot contests every year since 2016—a Dosi took “Best Visual” at the Massachusetts’ Cultivator’s Cup in September.
    • It became a top 20 most-viewed strain on Leafly in 2021.
Piercing limonene leads Dosi’s entourage. Peppery caryophyllene and flowery linalool round out the gang. (Leafly)
In its short lifetime, Dosi has become a living legend. At the ripe age of nine years old, it waves the banner for modern OG Kushes in 2021. And with exciting offspring like Moonbow and Slurricane ready to carry on its legacy in 2022, Dosi’s stud status is secure. Yes, there are newer, more hyped strains, but we picked Dosidos because it’s clearly not a flash in the pan.

Dosidos’ creator Archive Seeds, in Portland, OR, has cemented their place in the $18.3 billion legal industry because they are respected by breeders, growers, and smokers for the exotic aromas and unique highs of their strains. We give a special shoutout to Archive Seeds’ living legend ‘Fletch’ aka TheDocta. He deserves high recognition for excellence in breeding and for creating Dosidos.

Never heard of it...sounds like a snack mix...what do they base this on? sales? grower feedback? what?
I hope there is an afterlife...there are a lot of friends and family I'd like to see again, one day.

I've seen Slurricane on dispo menus for a while now but never tried it. I'm still loving South Beach and Face Mints, high THC %'s, consistent buzzes, trichs in buds visible from a foot away. I bought an 1/8th of 31% Wedding Cake, great smell and taste but the South Beach is still my current fave. Face Mints has my rolling tray all sticky. I need to get growing but feeling symptomatic again, argh. I want to buy the watering rings, funnels, and tubing to make it easier if someone has to pinch hit for me.
Soil: Coast of Maine Stonington Blend, perlite; Seedlings: CoM org potting soil

            Various size fabric grow bags
Cal-Mag & GH Trio if needed; Flower Fuel & molasses during bloom; ReCharge
4 clip fans. Exhaust into attic is vented to the eaves

I’m still strain hunting but so far Green Crack has my vote and it seems everyone that’s been around when it burns agrees. Before it dried up around these parts Pineapple Express was my go to. Seems I like to tinker and those keep me moving.

Hey Jebidiah. I too have been strain hunting for next grow. Looking for a strain that has maximum "pick me up". Don't need any help getting punched in the nose and napping in the middle of the day! Green Crack was on my list as well as Trainwreck but I think I'm gonna try Durban Poison. Whaddya think?

Dispensary weed is just a novelty for me now. I think I have a freebie seed from Canuk to try DoSiDos but I haven't popped it yet. Among this year's produce, I'd give the title of SOTY to Crockett's Tangie for its insane fragrance, effects and production. DP Blueberry is a tight second. Purple Haze still reigns as the staple around my house because it is plentiful and gassy.
              Coconut Grove
4x4 tent, Platinum LED P4-XML2, four Patio Pickers. Vegging Liberty Haze, Acapulco Gold, Lavender and Sweet Amnesia Haze.

3x3 tent, Platinum P300 LED. Flowering two Tangies.

              Flower tent:
4x4 tent, Platinum LED P4-XML2, four Patio Pickers. Vegging Super Lemon Haze, Durban Poison and two Tangie x Blueberry crosses.

              Nursery:
32"x32" tent with Feit white LED. Vegging four Mother's Finest.

              Coco/Perlite/worm castings/mycorrhizae living soil mix.
Down-To-Earth dry amendments. Gnarly Barley added weekly. Eisenia fetida.

              On deck: Winter indicas.
