    Good clone/mother leds

Just thought I would share my experience with a hyper tough 45 watt shop light led from Walmart and only 20 dollars. Just one of them is lighting up mother plant tent with clones Just fine. I did add a big CFL to help it out but I'm thinking it's not needed. Even then I think two of them will work just fine. They do run a bit warm.

I was running a 3'x1.5' tent, about 4 sq ft of canopy, and I had really good results with my original lm561c QB panel @ 75 watts.
Most of the commercially available diodes used in shop light and screw-in replacements aren't as efficient as top-shelf offerings so I'd shoot for around 20-25 watts/ sq ft to get good light levels for veg.

I normally use my hlg 150 watt qb buts its being used at the moment. Started a few to many plants and used what i had. That big cfl is 75 watts i think so tent is mostly covered lol.

How much did the light raise the tent temperature? I could use a few degrees at “night” and it would be nice for it to be usable light at an affordable cost. Thanks bd

It's in a controlled environment so I didn't even moniter temps. I never felt any heat in the tent when I opened it but I have a big exhaust fan going.
