Leaves have some holes, what is causing this?

I have 1 Liberty Haze plant in a DWC 5 Gallon bucket, inside a 2 feet x 2.5 feet tent, with a intake fan and an exhaust fan. My intake filter and my carbon exhaust filter is by Phresh. The plant is 4 weeks old.

Two of my plant leaves have holes, I cut the leaves off so I could examine them easier, and try to stop the spread.

I have no idea what is causing the leaves to get holes, it just happened over last night. But I do see these white things, look at pictures below.

    Welcome libertyhaze,
I have had the same problem with my current grow (bag seed, DWC, 220 watts CFL), but I have not found out what it is! I have sent photos to a few experts, but no ideas of what it is. Here a some photos (20x magnification) that I took showing small 'globules' and some filament like strands or fibers. The only 'good news' that I can give You is, I treated my reservoirs (6 gallon capacity) with 10 ml of Azamax and applied a foliar spray of Azamax to the leaves for several weeks. Applying the Azamax in the reservoirs makes it systemic and has, at least, brought the problem (what ever it is) under control.
    Good luck with your grow
    Smoke weed,.....grow peace!

        Thanks for the reply DW2!

Okay, I just ordered some AzaMax from Amazon! This stuff is super expensive lol, but hopefully it works!

When you say "has brought the problem under control", does that mean you are still experiencing the problem to a lessor degree, or has it completely stopped?

        Thanks,

        LH

No major damage found over the last six weeks, I have found a place on the edge of one leaf, but it could have been from handling and I am adding the Azamax (10 ml) to the reservoirs once a month now. The only thing that I found that looked 'adult' was dead and so small that I could not see it clearly against the leaf, when I tried to remove it with the tweezers, to put it on a lighter background to look at, it was mangled beyond recognition.

If you look up thrips on google, you'll see pics that look like what you are showing us, only magnified larger. Spray the shit out of the little bastards!!!!!!

Pests of some kind. It will only get worse if not treated. Maybe some kind of caterpillar?

If it is Thrips, I think the AzaMax that DW2 suggested will kill it off.

Hmm, if it is caterpillars, I wonder how they were able to sneak in my tent!

But just in case, I also bought some BT from Amazon.

I guess I'll spray both AzaMax and BT tonight.
