New grower here just trying to get some reassurance

These girls are 35 day old tangerine dream auto flower thousand one LED in soil 3 gallon pots. I had some what I thought was stunted growth early on from overwatering. I’m not sure does this plant look good is it in pre-flower? Should I prune? Thanks!!

I wish auto flowers from Europe would wait that long for flower.. instead of 19 days 🤦🏼

Did you tied it down for a long time ? Maybe they stunned the grow to be honest.. the colors look fine, nothing there.
    mans it doesn’t look overwatered.

think you tied it down to hard and it stunned the grow a bit
Just because people are over 50 doesn’t mean they know everything.
You can teach a old dog new tricks - But it will still think the old ways are the “best” lol

You think maybe I tied it down too soon

That might be true but it was that size when I tied it down about a week ago. I was pretty gentle with the pulling the stem down.

        Harsh or gentle doesn’t matter.
But with the info you provided - this is my best guess to your problem.
        But it doesn’t looks overwatered.
I see many auto flowers like the lst - but some really don’t if you do it too soon.

a good rule of thumb is to give enough water to soak the plant then let it dry out ,if you stick your index finger in the soil to the first knuckle if it feels dry water . I use a moistier meter under 20 bucks at walmart this is on amazon https://www.amazon.com/apine-Moistur...%20the%20apine

I do have that same moisture meter. I was kinda worried about damaging the roots. But I reckon I could keep to the edges?

I usually stick it in in 3 places , I dont force it in so if there is a tight root ball you dont damage them

Hi Badd, Their color looks good. I see a bit of nute burn on the tips of new leaves; you may want to back off on the nutes a bit. More is definitely not better as far as nutes go.

They are twisted! Not sure why. No added nutes. Just my soil mix. Added some compost about 3 weeks ago.
