Hi, we're experiencing some pretty hot temps here in BC Canada. As a result it's impossible for me to keep my indoor tent temp below 78f during my plants flowering stage for the last 6 hours of their daily 12 hours lights on schedule. It's already at 80f with five hours remaining of lights on. Should I just let them deal with the hotter temps? It'll probably hit 86f in there, maybe higher. Or should I dim the lights to cool it down? I've already employed all other techniques to cool it down besides an a/c unit (not possible). Thanks in advance for your help. This hot weather is meant to continue for another 6 days or so. This is not an ongoing or regular problem(but who know's!)

Someone beat me to it. Hot it has been here for the last 3 days. 90+. No AC available for plants and they are way to hot. I was thinking of switching light to on at night. Currently in 12 hour bloom cycle on 9am off 9pm. If I wanted to switch to 9pm to 9am, what would be the best way to do it? Gradual or all at once. That would mean another 24 hour dark cycle. I'm not sure it is worth it at this point as the night temps are still not going below 85.Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

Well Ckbrew it's just a small solution to the big problem doing 9pm to 9am without AC coming thru the vents an door during lights on is slowing down the growth as you know. As much airflow without drying out the enviornment tooo much helps. Nothing easy about trying to ventilate small rooms without external cooling to help. But it's just as bad outdoors right now as in. Our overnite temps swing 30degrees here.
