I don't grow in coco so I don't know much about it. The way I understand it is that coco has no nutrients at all so any plant nutrition has to come from supplements. I've read that coco needs to be washed thoroughly and buffered before using it as potting medium to remove sodium and potassium. Your plant doesn't seem to be suffering so my guess is everything is alright. I grow in compost soil and my perlite tends to absorb tannins and take on a brownish tinge.
