Temperature issues in a bigger room

Hey guys! I’m trying a new bigger set up and while maintaining the climate in a small room was easy enough, now that my grow space is twice as big I’m not sure what to do about the heat.

The grow room is around 225 sq ft of which I’m using around 170-180 sq ft for the plants. I have 12 480W LEDs and boy do they heat the room up. I got a 600 CFM exhaust fan (the intake is passive from the outside) and when it’s on, it gets up to 90°F. If switch the fan off the temperature goes all the way to 97°F. Meanwhile both of my 12000 BTU A/C’s are busting their ass off. It’s also worth mentioning that my walls are insulated with polystyrene foam sheets. So my question is, is it possible to keep the temperature down or should I just seal the room and go for CO2 enrichment? Thanks!

What is the temp in the lung room when running everything at best tent temp?

If your lung room is staying cool with hvac running you can put an active injection fan on your passive intake. I dont need one in my set up now but I have a hvac duct booster fan ready in case I need it.
    Good luck! 🙂🌱

I think you will need to add more exhaust 225 ft² x the height of your ceiling will give you the ft³ and you'll want to replace the air at least once per minute. So without a calculator if you have a 7' ceiling that's like 1500 ft³ you are running 600 cfm and will need more like 1500 cfm

Go to the ac infinity website they have some good info on there, even if you don't buy their products it's worth the read. I do like their products though it's good stuff

Flower at night? What I have to do. I live in az desert and with my cooler going I can't get under 90f either. Only problem with that is its a cold desert at night and I have to run a heater. Better than 90 95 f temps in my tent. My grow space is also around 300 Sq. With about 150 Sq with plants. Man you have double the lights I do. Maybe cut back on some lights. Seems a little much for that space.

I'm running 3 640 watt diy leds, a 150 watt led and a 300 watt led. You easily have double the wattage. Wondering how many plants do you have?
