Lemons and limes do the same thing, and for me the PH down is temporary, fades back up in about 12 hours (less).
    The tabs you want uncoated.

A problem with distilled water is it is acidic, not neutral, and there is nothing in it for a tester to read.

Just the regular cheapy chewable vitamin C tabs. Do your own research obviously, but yeah...seems to be non toxic to the plants and the mycos...only the chlorines

Floopydoop Are they unflavored Vit C chewables? I need to inquire about what my towns dumps in but the day they do it's very strong smelling.

Wish I could do that here. The city uses chloramine which wont evaporate as easily. Have 500mg Vit C chewables to grind up and throw in. Apparently it eats chlorine/chloramines with a half life of like 4 minutes. Dump 1000mg in a 5 gal bucket of tap water, and it's clear within 15 minutes. Also Ph downs a bit if I remember correctly.

I use anything that gives a gentle slow pour so not to uproot tiny root.

With seedlings I like to titrate the water in by the ounce using a quart condiment bottle in a circular, outward radiating fashion until empty.
In my grow environment, with 24/7 air circulation and 18/6 light schedule @74F that quart will last 3 days. At 10 days from sprout I'll kick it
up to 2 quarts every 4 days.

Hi there. The water and its pH matter. I use tap water that sits out to let the chlorine burn off. I just started some autos in fabric pots, I use a syringe to water around the base of the seedlings but I will be using a spray bottle soon. Read up on the main GWE site about water, distilled isn't the best choice. In fabric pots letting them go a day longer between watering is better for the roots. Good luck, and I'm sure more experienced growers will chime in.

That makes a lot of sense and definitely helps. I gave her a little drink about an hour ago and she is already perking up. Thank you so much.

Been using a shot glass. They're getting thirstier now, so instead of 1 shot, they get 3...but it's a few days apart, I'll wait until the top is bone dry and dry about a knuckle deep. Not an expert by any means, so I'd keep reading. Plenty of learnin to be had here

    Good luck!

I usually use a spray bottle for the first week and then water more, just around the base of the plant after that. By end of week 3 you should usually be able to water the whole pot and have 3-4 days to dry in between. If you're watering the entire surface of the pot, you're pretty much just wasting water and time right now because the roots haven't had a chance to spread out yet. Hope that helps.

Sounds like I have absolutely been using too much water when I do water. I have been getting most of the pot wet when I water as opposed to just some moisture around the base for the roots. That's what has me a little worried that I may have allowed fungus to develop but I also am growing inside in Arizona so the air is constantly dry from the AC. From your reply and dphipps reply it sounds like I should be watering a little more often with a lot less water. I was thinking of using a clean spray bottle to wet the area around the base of the stem. How did you go about watering your seedlings if you dont mind me asking?

I appreciate the help. I have been attempting to saturate the top 3 to 4 inches of the pot when I water but have only been watering once every 2 to 3 days just waiting for the soil to feel dry. But I should be watering more frequently with much less is what it sounds like? Would it be a good idea to use a clean spray bottle and just spray at the base of the stem everyday or two while they are this young? Oh and they are in 3 gallon fabric pots
