Soil looks pretty dry, roots don't like to grow into dry soil. They look pretty good and if you are talking about how their size is different that's normal, it's weird how much different plants will grow sitting side by side

It depends on what you are feeding em. As budgal said it is easiest to tell when to water by weight of the pot. Your soil only looks wet right next to the plant, the plants roots are probably further out than that. A plant is not overwatered by to much water a plant is overwatered when you water to often or when they don't need water. that's the reason for lifting up the pot it's lighter when dry which tells you to water or not.

If you are feeding with salt nutes (man made) you actually want to water alot at a time so you do a mini flush every time you water. This washes away the nutes the plant didn't eat so they get fresh food every time without it piling up and making your plants sick

Uksmoker Here's how i water/fed. I lift the container if it feels light i water then pick it up if i see drops coming out the bottom and pot feels much heavier then i quit the fluid. Wait a few days lift it again if it's not quite dry i won't water but most the time i don't wait for a droopy needs water look. You have to become familiar with the container with soil wet and dry.
