after harvest when is the exceptable time to weight your product

thinking right after the drying has taken place and prior to curing? thank your

I weighed mine after two weeks hanging to dry and three weeks curing in jars.
For me unless buds have been over dried there's still a bit of moisture in them until they've ben cured. Curing helps slowly sweat out any remaining moisture and helps improve taste etc.
Buds loose roughly 75% of their weight between harvest, drying & a proper cure. How much they lose during the drying & how much they lose during the curing depends on how long it spends in each stage but the majority goes during drying.

Has anyone weighed their harvest fresh, dried & then cured to compare the different weights between dried & cured?

Once the buds feel completely dry on the outside and the smallest stems snap without bending, it's an okay time to weigh them. But chances are they still have some water weight. If you want to make sure you get the "true" weight, start curing them first. If they don't feel wet after a week of sitting in the jars it means they're probably dry enough. If they feel wet on the outside after curing them for a while, it means part of the weight was coming from water and they need to dry a little bit more before being weighed. If you have a hygrometer, you know you can weigh them when the humidity in the jars stabilizes at around 62%.

A good sort of "rule of thumb" is you can expect each quart-sized mason jar to hold about 1 ounce of buds. If you can fit more than 1 ounce in a jar, chances are it still has some water weight left.
