March 1st has always been germination day in this Southern California home. Today I got all my pills tucked into their warm damp beds after a night of soaking them in the tub. On tap for this season I'm looking at 2 each of feminized OG Kush, feminized Raspberry Parfait, and a first for me, a CBD High Tide strain. I have zero experience growing or smoking any CBD plants but I am very curious and decided to give it a go. I've got a 35 gallon bin of living soil that's been cooking since early December and should be fully developed by transplant time to be mixed with some commercial product like Happy Frog or Fox Farm. I will probably run some bag seed at some point but for now I'll concentrate on these 6 plants. It's funny, I've been doing this growing thing for a very long time and it seems like the more I learn the more I second guess everything I do. This forum has been on one hand a Godsend for all the new information I've garnered, while at the same time a curse for the same reason. Used to be I stuck some seeds in the ground, watered, and then cut them down when I thought they were ready. Nowadays I feel like I need a laboratory and a chemistry degree. This year I'm hoping to get back to my old school ways and keep it all as simple as possible. Wish me luck.
