    feeding in the dark

    I have a 30 gallon res ,I have timers set for 4 times in a 20 hour period of light Now that I flipped them should I redo my timer to feed 4 times in 12 hours or leave the timer alone and give 2 feedings in the dark
    new grow room built summer of 2017 ,argo max tent for veging ,big kahuna reflector, 1000hps with added leds for the full spectrum . 15th indoor grow ,5 years outside gorilla grows(stealth is the key),veg under t5s growing autos under 300w leds

    I don’t think roots uptake much nutrients during lights out period.
    There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
    1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
    2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
    3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs)

    Very good question. I've always been taught to water just before lights out because the most growth comes just before dawn. And is what I've done for 20 years of gorilla gardening; its harder for po po to pinch you in the dark. How much truth there is to this i don't know. YYCannabis has alot more experience and knowledge than I and is one of the ppl here who's opinion I highly regard. Just started a new grow maybe it time to pick one for lights on watering.

      Best time to feed is either just before or after lights on as it gives the plants all day to uptake those lovely nutes. I usually do it an hour after lights on
