I have a couple of worm bins going and the castings have helped my grows tremendously. Using living soils helps keep PH balanced throughout most of the grow and is great for stopping issues like nutrient lockout. I have one bin I use for high nitrogen compost and the other I use with high phosphorous compostable material that I use for top dressing and teas during flower. I don't know about fish pellets but I do like to put chopped fish parts near the bottom of my potting mixture. Doing it this ways allows the roots to to reach and utilize the extra nitrogen when the plant is ready instead of saturating the soil.

I use earthworms and fresh pond filter gunk(smells horrific) for my outside grows, but it works awesome. pond water, earthworms and fish poop...that is all. I cant use this concoction in the house tho..its way too stinky.Shappel S3000 3.5x6x6' ice hut
