I probably shouldn't have but I did it

So I was just sitting here enjoying some Blue Dream and I started thinking. I've had the urge to upgrade all my tents (yet again) to LEDs. While I was sitting here enjoying the sweet flavor, I decided to go ahead and get the last light I need to complete my changeover. So many reasons why I'm upgrading honestly, but mainly heat and the life of the light in comparison to the CMH lights I'm running now. Makes way more sense to me to have LEDs, especially with summer coming up. It will add a little bit to my electric bill when they're all at full power, but it shouldn't be too bad. I'll be getting the 4 for my big tent on Tuesday, so I have a project to look forward to.

So now I will have all Mars Hydro except for the one Spider Farmer:
    2x2 - TS600
    2x4 - Spider Farmer SF2000
    Both 4x4s - TS3000
    8x8 - (4x) TSW2000

I know the lights for the 8x8 are only meant to flower a 6x6 ideally, but I needed more coverage without using too much wattage. I think these will be perfect for that. Will give me about 1200W in lights in there and should increase my yields by a lot. It's also good timing because I want to do a full cycle in that tent and I should be able to clear it out in about a month for the next grow.

I think I've decided to do individual grows in each tent now. It's been too much of a challenge for me to try to time everything right and keep switching tents all the time. So my plan this time is about 12 ladies in the 8x8, going to try 2 in one 4x4, and I think I'm going to try 2 in coco (first coco grow) in the other. The 2x4 is still going to be a seedling/clone tent and the 2x2 still has mothers in it. There is currently nothing in one of the 4x4s, but here's the rest, enjoy! I know I do.

They're in the fourth picture. I got rid of most of the dead stuff on them, and topped a couple already. They're growing green now mostly so it's just a little longer and they'll start really taking off. The first few weeks is the slowest unfortunately. Glad yours are improving too. Sometimes all it takes is a little time.

Lol it's been that way for a while. Look at some of my older posts, they have lots of pictures of full tents. This is actually the most empty they've been in a while.

I jist started my 2 photos for switching to flower schedule, i hope everything goes well, a lil nervous on doing it right. Todya i came home and the tent was 29c and 70 humidity, im hoping thats why i had some claws, they could have been thirsty. I got an exhaust and filter soon. I think i got my nute schedule all wrong. See how it goes

Why do you say your nutrient schedule is wrong? 29C isn't too bad, that's right around what mine are at, just under that usually. I've completely stopped paying attention to my humidity. I think it's pretty steady between 30-45% but I don't remember because it's been over a year since I checked it. You just planted them, or you just switched to 12/12? If you just planted them, you'll be right behind my 4 seedlings in that picture.

12/12 started, 2 plants, one is growing tall about 2.5 ft, one is topped very spread out, both about 3 months in veg, i started giving nutes of 5 ml per 500ml bottle of a npk ratio of 8-10-5. Did that for about 1 month. Then a&b nutes came in, did 2 weeks at 1/2 strenght, switched to flora trio 4 days ago, gave full strength one feeding and ph water since, i will make 10l of a flowering solution which im gonna try and make and hope i dont do anything wrong. I got 4 clones going now for back up, i want to see a beautiful harvest, worries

How long ago did you switch? For the first week of 12/12 I believe you should be using the ratio for the transition phase, and once you see flowers starting switch to flower ratios. I've only fed for hydro, but the time frame should be the same. I'll be doing this when my coco comes in, should be fun.

Yeah I would give them the transition nutrients for the next week or 2 and then switch to the flower mix. It's pretty hard to mess up honestly, I think you'll be fine.

I switched over last year. At first I was like ‘f these LED’s’ but that was only bc my first led was a cheap one I ordered from Amazon. The wife let me use some of the stimulus check last year to order a good led snd I couldn’t be happier. I keep a portable ac in my grow room set at 72 and I only heard it come on a few times all summer. It did get a little chilly in my grow room a while back so I fired up the old HPS to bring the temps up and it felt like bringing a old dinosaur out of retirement

I switched a month ago and all is well. My only nutes were Nature’s Living Soil Original as compost tea when watering. I just got their new Girl Flower Power which is specifically for flowering. The compost tea using it is ready. They sure slowed up in wanting water. It was 2-3 days at veg but after 3 days the pots were still a bit heavy. They will probably be watered tonight.

I use this GWE image on my phone to set equipment.

My AC Infinity maintains the temp and rh very well. I have a bluetooth govee hygrometer hanging at the top of the canopy to tell me how its going.

I can’t imagine trying to time everything out for 4 spaces! If you’ve ever made it work, you’re my hero. I think you totally did the right thing to add bloom capability to all tents. I’m struggling with timing myself, and have come to the same conclusion , that having dedicated spaces for bloom and Veg might not be the best way to go about things. I need to bite the bullet and upgrade as well. Can’t wait to see how it turns out for ya

I had it timed pretty decent. Gave about 5 weeks in the 2x4, 5 in the 4x4s and then to the flower tent. Actually timed out pretty good for a harvest about every 4-5 weeks but I wasn't getting the yields I wanted. So I decided to try it a little different this time.

Lights came in today. Big tent is now upgraded, and with only about 140W more than what was already there, but with better coverage. All daisy chained together so I only have to use one dimmer.

Thanks. I have been lucky with the space and living alone. I'm hoping it lasts. I'm trying to buy this house and I want to fence in the yard and put up a greenhouse for summertime. But the owner wants to sell and I can't get a loan right now. Long story. Anyway, time will tell.

Yeah renting yikes. That would be a tough move if he sold it to someone else.

Yeah for sure. It's an older mobile home on a plot of land. I don't think she'll sell it for what she wants because of the repairs it needs. I love it and I want to rebuild it and make a few changes so for me it's fine. I just don't see anyone who wants to buy a house, buying this one and spending close to the same amount to fix it up. Especially considering there's a lot of houses here for sale that don't need any repairs, or very few at least. I wish Biden would follow through with the student loan forgiveness because that's the only thing holding me back.
