Drowned and out. Wet the soil first place the root into the hole cover with the damp soil put a clear cup on it don't water again and keep her warm. Give it only tablespoons of water for a sprout then learn to give gentle small amounts don't " up root " with big pours.

Amen! It doesn’t have to be a big amount to wash them out either

pH of water is 5.9, I may have overwatered looking at another comment and what I read online however I'm using a 600w HPS bulb but only in a 3X3 grow space so maybe it's too powerful?

Do you think a 600w HPS bulb is too hot/powerful for a 3X3 grow space then?

No it should be good in there but with babies you have to be careful and put your light way high and watch the plant if it looks to be stretching lower the light some and so on. I don't have any experience with those lights so I can't give you a starting point. I know by reading a 600w is good in a 3x3 to a 4x4

Dont see any reason why you would need 600w in a 3x3.Depends on the height to start with and how many plants your growing. My tent is 4x2x5ft and im using a 600w ballast and bulb turned down to 250w and thats got me from seed to harvest just fine and with a decent yield.Save yourself some money on electric aswell.

Don't repeat the process you used to drown that seedling. Moist not wet. Tap root has to breathe. Good luck.

Beginnersprouter that’s perfectly fine, that’s how you learn read, research, screw up and don’t make the same mistake again.
