    Seed production and topping question.

I'm at a point in veg where I would normally top my plants, but my two hydro grows are for seeded bud. Is it better to top or let them grow out normally? I'm at a place where I still have no clue how many males/females I have. The goal is to fill a Mason jar each full of seeds for future Ghost Train Haze and Skunk #1 grows and also for potential trades. If the bud is nice too, that's great. Otherwise it's going to be made into hashish.
Fourth state-sanctioned grow. This time was for seeds. Six Ghost Train Haze (Rare Dankness): five females harvested for seed after two males harvested for pollen weeks ago.
4'X4' flower tent, AC Infinity 4" fan and filter, Advanced Platinum P4-XML2 LED
RDWC six grow buckets and a reservoir.

Four Skunk #1 (Sensi): three females in hydro plus a female in coco.
    Advanced Platinum P-300 LED
3'X3' tent RDWC four grow buckets and a reservoir.

Aurora Soul nutrients - Grow, Bloom, Infinity, Big Swell & PeaK.

Side project in coco: four Purple Haze clones in new 4x4 tent under new Platinum P4-XML2 LED.

On deck: Cinderella 99 (Brothers Grimm) and Blueberry (Dutch Passion) for seed. Lavender, Super Lemon Haze, Trainwreck fems in coco when new tent is ready.

If you top em you'll convince the lower branches to get going and have more tops just like when growing to smoke more buds more smoke more buds more seeds

I expected it would work that way. I think I'm just feeling impatient. That same feeling probably cost me a lot of bud last grow!
