    Curing CBD

Wondering if anyone knows if CBD loses less weight after its cured than regular bud. I've had my ACDC curing for 9 weeks now and only lost 10th of weight. Opened every day for 3 weeks. Started at 30 minutes and went down 10 minutes each week. 4th week not much weight loss so 15 minutes each day that week. And from week 5 to week 9, twice a week for 15 minutes. Buds all look good and vapor well. 1st time growing CBD and am amazed with the little weight loss. I guess more for me and my old achy back. Thanks and keep smiling!

In my experience, it is like many of the other THC predominant strains. Some will lose more size and weight during drying than others, so it is strain dependent but I have not seen any deviation from that when it comes to the CBD predominant plants I have had.

Just curious did you grow from regular seeds? I've noticed that regular seeds grow differently from fem I seem to get healthier plants. I haven't done enough testing, I started to notice it and would put same strain fem and reg next to each other but between the animals and people finding my hiding spots I couldn't ever get an answer. Other crap has happened and I have to grow inside I've spent all my time learning how to grow again and haven't been able to start messin with it. (Babbling sorry) just still curious

Thanks for the answers. I got my seed from a friend who said it was ACDC feminized strain they got from growers choice. I am unable to grow outside, too any peeps around. And indoor space is only big enough for one plant. I did take notes on the CBD grow and will compare next time I grow more CBD, but currently moving into veg state with my new seed feminized Mexican Haze.
now looking for some recipes for cannabutter, oil, tincture and gummies so I can put this CBD to work. Thanks again for the advice.

I'm not a cook so I can't help you there. There's a bunch of people on here that do all that stuff I bet if you make another problem thread asking you'll get visitors willing to share. Good luck and enjoy

There are loads of tutorials out there to make those items, many are only a few steps long, but do remember to "decarboxylate" the cannabis first. That is a fancy word for saying - activate the cannabinoids first. Right now, the plant contains CBDa and THCa, the "a" at the end signifies the acidic form, which has benefits but is not psychoactive the same as THC and CBD are. So decarboxylating is what converts the THCa to THC by using heat (220 degrees in the oven for 45 minutes / you'll see various durations) for the process. It may make the house smell a bit like weed, so do it when you are able to make a smell.
