    PH levels

I’ve been reading on the dinafem site about what they say about ph range. They have 4 different ranges for ph in soil, 1. 5.9-6.0 for first half of veg. 2. 6.0-6.2 for second half of veg. 3. 6.2-6.5 for first half of flower. 4. 6.2-6.3 for second half of flower.
I was wondering if anyone here changed ph range like that? I had been trying to run approx. 6.5 thinking 6-7 was where I should be but if dinafem is right then I’ve been pretty high (ph wise) most of the time.

I see a lot of problems on here and it seems the majority have to do with ph level so I’ve been trying to learn more about how it all works. I’ll be glad when I finally get into my living soil and don’t have to screw with it anymore.

I’ve always grown in soil and if I stay between 6.3-6.7 I don’t have problems. I also keep track of each watering on a calendar and let my ph fluctuate in that range. My waterings with nutes I go for 6.3-6.5 and plain water is 6.6-6.7. I read that in High Times years ago and started doing it that way. It’s worked so I’ve stuck with it.

Soil is alot more forgiving than a hydro or coco added nutrients that soil has in it helps buffer the ph even before switching to a living soil I wouldn't check the ph in my soil unless I saw a problem starting I did ph the water going in and during veg I would try to stay close to 6.3 and in flower 6.8 calcium and magnesium are more available above 6.5.

Oh crap I forgot about these other charts, I just saw them again in my pictures when I looked for the original they're different than the one I was growing by for over a year. I was reading on the main site and found them (last 2 pics)
of course it's never perfect but doing 6.3 and 6.8 never gave me a problem so I don't know which one is accurate. Almost deleted this because I kinda proved that I could be giving bad info but maybe seeing both will help you out
