Started training the new main shoots for the space. I tied down the two main fan leaves on each plant and then tied the new shoots to the fan leave stems.
2 more days and I’ll consider doing a 2nd topping.Comment

During blackout when flowering should I disable the IR night vision light on the camera?Comment

It’s a disputed topic (like most things with growing)...some say it’s no issue, while others believe it will cause hermies. I’d suggest turning it off to be on the safe side.There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs)Comment

It’s been a hot minute, hope everyone is keeping well. The girls have been topped for a 3rd time today and training is ongoing. So far so good.
Have also switched to a Viparspectra V900.
I’m setting up a 2nd tent soon, have a Mars Hydro TS1000 on the way.
The camera inside really doesn’t like the new light spectrum, I’ll post more photos once training is complete in a week or so.Comment

To me, 1350 ppm is too high and I can see some nute burn on the tips of some leaves. I never got above 1000 ppm during my DWC grow.Comment

So, yesterday I was on eBay and bid on a couple of things and I accidentally bought another light... I don’t want it going to waste, so I “accidentally” had to buy another tent (en route) and some containers and bits and bobs for another setup.
Split the ventilation and filtration system this afternoon and started putting some of the irrigation and return plumbing system together.
The tent coming is a 150x150x200cm, I probably could do more plants in that space but I think 12 is about right for now.Comment

Nice looking plants! If they were mine I would thin out a few fan leaves so you can barely see thru the top of the canopy to see the top of your reservoir. I just thinned mine after reading the defoliation tutorial on the main site.Comment
