I'm happy with the temperature but I need to bring the humidity a little bit higher. Oh yes the girls are now sleeping in their bed the reason why I want to see the humidity rise.

They are 5 gallons pots SoOrbudgal , some are fabric pots and some are plastic. I never had an issue with the 5 gallons.

OK i was just curious i run either or with the 5gal. also. For some reason i think the plastic keeps the roots/soil warmer which is good for me cause i use " passive heating ". My tent room is very cool when lights out.

Ok ! Here my "grow room" is inside of a room in my basement. You know we get real cold winter here so I have a wall heater and a dehumidifier outside of the "grow room" so now the heater is on at 20C (68F). During the lights on it's 24C (75F) in the room but when the lights are off is around 20C (68F) thanks to my wall heater.

It's snowing and cold so I decide to make some organic banana powder as nutrients for the months to come.

Cali I'm growing organic so organic banana peel is ideal for me for potassium nutrient during flowering. It's inexpensive as a nutrient and it's benefits improve your yield if you use in moderation.

From what I read : Potassium (K) is a staple macronutrient in plant cultivation and is responsible for healthy growth and reproduction.

For me it's purely for organic nutrients as much as possible and beside wife insist that I grow organic.

I'm having the same issue with RH. Do you wet a towel and put a fan on it or just let it hang?

Just let it hang around the pot. Look the lowest at peek during light on is 40% and during the dark period is 57% so I can't complain much loll

I need to take an hour or two for myself. I have a bit of a humidity issue during high peek period of "day" The HR is 40% but during the rest of the day is between 45-53%, the reason why I have plates with wet towels.

In the past and in the future I will be done growing for the year by mid November right now tho I still have a few plants growing till about the 1st of the year. I was having issues and couldn't figure them out till a week or so ago. From November till March RH in Michigan is so low fighting it just to grow didn't make sense, but this year set backs has me still growing. I lost majority of my fan leafs before I figured out they were literally drying up from lack of moisture. Here is what I have came up with to help with my RH since I don't want to buy a humidifier for my grow. Had these plastic trays with water in them and fans blowing past them it helped a little but day time with lights it would still drop to under 40%. I hung towel so fan blew air through it and wetted it down and sett bottom in one of the trays. It did okay when lights out but RH with lights on still dropped below 40 last 2 days I reduced the power of lights and this is what I see as of today on my monitor. The 62% is during the first 30 minutes of lights on I have timer set for exhaust to be off then to let temperature rise otherwise over night it is just over 50% with lights out. The fans run 24/7. Oh and I have stopped drawing in the dry outside air, and using main part of basement as my lung room. Basically lost all my fan leafs they turned purple then yellow got to dry and crispy I'm hoping to get trough till harvest using sugar leafs to absorb energy of the lights. On the up side I only need to harvest enough to make the hash I smoke before bed to get through to a to spring harvest.

I allow water to stand in my catch tray under my riser. It is hard in the winter to get the humidity decent, i've also hung wet towels from tent poles. Sure is a challenge !
