So for the "Harvest Triangle" 1) Time as 2 Sativa at end of flowering 10 weeks (10-12) with 2) 70% to 90% colored hairs (red or brown) and 3) Trichomes at (as possible) 100% milky white (and maybe just a very few or slight amber ones?)
1) Time as 1 Indica at end of flowering 8 weeks (8-10) with 2) 70%-90% colored hairs (red or brown) and 3) Trichomes at (as possible) 100% milky white (and maybe just a very few or slight ambers ones?)
How about "splitting the harvest windows" and say harvest Indica plant 6 at end of 9 weeks flower (giving it 1 extra week) and harvest sativa plats 4 & 5 at end of 11 weeks of flower (giving it an extra week as well)? and still be within the parameters as stated above???

***UPDATE*** 04/04/2021 SUNDAY... This past Friday Plant 6 Indica reached the end of 8 weeks and I noticed that last minute spurt in growth then settled down. I waited until Saturday morning and this one is now hanging in the closet at 8 weeks 1 day ( I wanted to catch this one at it's best of 70%-90% colored hairs and all trichomes were white, no clear ones anywhere and look very frosty and really sticky!!!)

***UPDATE - Continued... Now next weekend come Sunday Plants 4 & 5 Sativa will be at the end of 10 weeks of flower ( being the "window" to harvest is 10-12 weeks) and I will be quite honest that right now they look sooooo good it's almost tempting to cut them down!!! Again trying to hit the "prime" target!!! I don't want them to seed themselves either so really looking close at the calyxes. This is just Plant 4:

***UPDATE*** - 04/09/2021. Well I think I am getting very close to harvesting my last 2 plants as 1 of them decided it is going to start folding over branches from the weight of the buds!!! Had to stake up 3 of them as I was hoping to make it to Sunday. This may not be the case and maybe a little early but the buds are ripe, heavy and close!!! Smells so good and sticky!Last edited by NuggetMan; 04-11-2021, 02:42 PM.

***UPDATE*** - 04/11/2021, Sunday. Good morning everyone! Yes today was an early morning for me as plant 4 got cut down this morning about 6:45am before the lights came on. Yesterday, plant 5 got cut down at 4:20pm as it was ready! 100% milky white trichomes, no clear, no amber. My son just happened to come by yesterday and I had him look at them and he's the one that told me #5 was ready to cut and do #4 in the am, which I did. oh, soooo sticky both of them and smell good too! I did not want to tip to any amber at all. Here is plant 4 after getting cut and trimmed:This one has weight to it as well and the buds are solid!

THIS TIME AROUND I BELIEVE I GOT IN THE "SWEET SPOT" AS THESE PLANTS TURNED OUT ALOT BETTER THAN I HAD EXPECTED!!!Grow #15 has been started as of last week-end and 7 are already above ground and not quite a week old already....

Oh, if it was so, it would be fun! How different ideas and opinions can affect the way you grow your own... plus from your past mistakes! But this time around I did find I did not have as much "larf" or stuff that wasn't work keeping by cleaning up the lower part if the plant as it grows upward, driving the "force" to the other bud points and I do have to admit, these nugs I have now are crazy, these are the biggest I have grown yet. I am quite surprised!!! Plus I did use bigger pots, got bigger plants, 3 1/2 mason jars just from my Indica plant alone, not including what I have just chopped and hanging in the closet...
Plus a big difference this time by using Cal-Mag during veg and flower because FF does not have enough of this for more than 30 days (very weak) and I did not have half as many issues this time around as everything was all fresh, new soil (no recycled stuff), kept my nutes to a minimum number of feedings and instead of using all the FF stuff mixed, I chose to use the Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha-Ching by itself 1 time, then mixed with Tiger Bloom the 2nd time. The whole grow used nothing but pH 6.5 water, and some molasses. It will be interesting what I do this next grow!Last edited by NuggetMan; 04-11-2021, 02:52 PM.

*** Final Results Are In*** Well I Know this may seem early as for the time it took to dry and start curing for this grow, Having to adjust for weather changes (up and down) it did not take long. I must have a "magic closet" (fairly good size) as this it what I use to hang and dry in the dark. cut and trimmed 2 days, trim buds and put in perforated gallon plastic bags for another 2-4 days (it just depends, it's a guessing game) inside a brown paper bag to slow down the drying process. all 3 were jarred after 5 days total in the closet and nugged up very nicely, enough to where I could sample all of them over a few days. Indica- Smile and hello, good morning! I got 3 1/2 mason jars from this plant curing. Today the 2 Sativas were jarred after the same amount of time and all I can say is #4 is very nice creeper and eye buzz and alert BUT #5 kicked butt! took me to even a higher level from the previous #4! All clean burning, tasty, #4 is mild on a "slight choke" & #5 in very minty! I may only have 5 1/2 jars of these but the buds from these two were the biggest I have grown to date (or at least bigger than grow #11 or 12). As far as weight that will be later on...
