Tincture, curing for

Good morning everyone,
Regarding the making of Tinctures and the curing process of the pot that is to be used; is a Full Cure required regardless of how it will be used or can the cure be shorter if making Tincture is going to be the end result? Your feedback will be most appreciated.

Curing only affects plant matter. Decomposes chlorophyll and sugars. Resin is not affected by curing except for trichomes oxidizing and thc turning into cbn

Good afternoon JSH1973, the steps mention having 2 microwave safe bowls but I don't see any reason why as unless I missed something, there is no microwaving involved. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I've cured my weed in jars for 1.5 months and this will suffice for making extracts? Also, 5.5 grams isn't even 0.2 of an ounce, is that the right measure? LMK and stay safe.

I stumbled through a post this morning explaining my findings making oil and bhang. Cured flower tastes and smells better than just dried for both. Its just as potent, but smells and flavors suck just dried.

My cannabis use consists of tincture and ingesting decarbed flower and requires only a thorough dry to 10-15% bud moisture content
to avoid a wet mess when decarboxylating.

I've had the same experience with tinctures. The batch that was cured and dried had a much more pleasant taste than the batch I didn't cure or dry proper.
