SOIL Strange substance on my leaves

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing what looks like a calcium build up on the leaves of my plant and what I should do about it? I'm in the late flowering stage and was about to harvest it soon.

If you wipe at it with a wet thumb, does it come off? I don't think it is PM, but just had to ask. Likely, your leaves have been suffering from a bug infestation. Lots of times mites will leave little dots on the leaf where they bit and sucked the juices out. That is a common indicator for insects.

If you look at the underside of your leaves, do you see any really really tiny bugs moving about? Have you had any bugs that you are aware of?

Don't sweat it. Getting all sorts of nutrient weird things happening to fan leaves in late flowering can be normal. Only worry about it if it's on your sugar leaves. Keep up with good circulation to help avoid humid diseases like leaf septoria and WPM.

But always, as ChadWestport said, check for bugs. Even if you don't think you have bugs, check for bugs.

Personally I'd check under the leaves with a magnifying glass for bugs. Thats my guess and I'm sticking to it!!
