    How do you drop ppm in a nutrient based medium.

    I tested runoff and in a 5 gallon pot it was 2300 at the start. How to lower it is my question.

    I flush by running RO water into my DWC system then feed again with lowered nutrients. I think (Do not grow in a medium so only a swag) you could do the same by using RO water until your runoff drops down to where you need it.
    I'm sure folks who grow in soil or coca have done this before and will chime in

      Unless you are talking about added slow release man made nutrients, You don't they put shit in the soil to feed your plants if you flush it out what will your plants eat

        not a lot u can do i useing flora grow that makes ppm sky high i was having same issue so i stopped measure it just made sure ph was right had no issues u dont need to do run off in soil what i do is feed nutes every feed then every so often do a flush dont think u need to worry to much about ppm i dont hope this helps mate
