    Split stem

    Split this top stem training.. I currently have it tied down. Should i untie it and tape it or leave it alone and hope it dont die

      Just tape it up using planters tape or a bit of duct tape will work should be fine given time to heal.
      3'x3'x6' Secret Jardin grow tent

      Yellow under blurple makes fluorescent orange 😀

        I almost cracked off the whole branch just before flowering and a little tape and support it was as good as new in a couple of days. Good Luck

          Just let off the pressure support it so it's closed tape it to hold it closed, you might see a little droop but should recover just fine

            I don’t recommend using tape because it’s a pain to remove and hard not to redamage. I prefer to use plant ties. Stand both stems straight up and tie them together for a couple weeks then remove and slowly LST back down. If it’s bad enough you can make a split with a popsicle stick.

              A problem with tape is moisture, if you have high RH it can invite bud rot.
