Damn Caterpillars, any one know how to kill or remove them on harvested bud

Found some small caterpillars crawling on my recently harvested buds that are in the drying process, any suggestions on how to handle them? Can I freeze them or will that mess with the curing process? Help please I'm lost

Keep your eye open for Bud rot.

Freezing is going to damage the plant material and also make the trichomes extremely brittle, so when you bump it, you'll lose a lot of heads. I wonder if the method of washing the buds would work here. Basically waterboard the little craps.

From what I have been seeing, any caterpillars left in drying bud are crawling out and dropping to the ground.

When I went into the tent today you are correct. I found a couple on the floor but I hopefully pulled most of them off yesterday. keeping fingers crossed. Thanks to all for the advice
