    seedlings

I currently have three Charlottes Web seedlings (sprouts?) going. Theyre about an inch tall and I've started them in my Aerogarden. I'd like to transplant them into solo cups but when I do do I use the sampling of the main soil I plan on using? Right now that soil would be a mix of Fox Farm Ocean and Happy Frog. And Considering I'm using the Oc ean, I should should just use water for the seedlings, correct? The seedling in lower left may not "make the cut."

Yes, use the same soil as you will be planting in later. You are correct about only water in the Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil for the first three weeks. That soil is heavily amended with nutrients and has all the food the young roots will need. I used that soil for years and think it is a great choice.

That's the same mix I use. I just germinate first to make sure they pop and then plant them straight into the soil. Never had an issue with it, and never had to feed through veg. I use living soil though so I don't have to feed anyway. I've taken a plant all the way through with that mix, seed to harvest and it did just fine. She was small, but it's still possible depending on how long you want to veg for.
That one in the front, plant it now. Bury it until it stands up straight. If the leaves are sideways, don't worry they'll straighten out to reach for the light. Give it a good water and watch her for a few days while the soil dries. She should perk right up in a few days. Hope that helps.
