Have you ever grown a plant that is so unimpressive and boring it just kinda sails under the radar the entire grow? The first picture is one of those plants. It's been growing since March 1 and I hardly noticed it until a few days ago when it started sporting some fairly impressive buds. It's one of my GOK's and has the most velvety buds I've seen in awhile. One of the few sativa dominant plants I have in the stable this year.
The 2nd picture is of my dwarf beginning to show what I had been hoping for; perfectly proportioned diminutive buds that match her leaf size. Her clones have been giving me fits, and dropping half of them didn't help my efforts. I'm down to 3 survivors now.
It's been an interesting grow season but I have to admit I'm reaching the burnout point. I started early this year, like in December preparing soils and nutrients and have managed to maintain enthusiasm throughout veg and flower, tending to them daily, but now that I'm on the home stretch, my determination is beginning to flag somewhat. I believe I may have overdone it this year growing far to many plants that demand far too much attention. I'm trying to renew my interest by focusing on my "odd girls" lately but I'm looking forward to some time away now that baseball and football are back on the tube. Anyone else feel like they're in the twilight zone with all the cardboard cutouts and piped in crowd noise? It's surreal. Only 5 or 6 plants next year - I swear
