    HELP! powdery mildew

    Hi
we recently saw a wee bit of mildew on some lower leaves in our bud tent ..
we hauled all the plants out and sprayed with a toxic (!!) (copper oxychloride & sulphur in wettable powder format ) (YATES Natures Way Fungus Spray) spray 2 days ago
withholding period is 1 day on the container
we are approx 2-3 weeks from harvest
should we mist/spritz with water to remove the residue off the buds ??
    thanks

Withholding period as in don't smoke copper oxychloride and sulfur for a day after you spray it? There isn't a thing about that product that sounds like I want to use it. As much as I know about that stuff.
Misting and spritzing your buds to get rid of residual poison you use to get rid of WPM, will probably perpetuate the WPM. Again, as much as I know about that stuff.

Yikes! I just went and read up on that stuff. I’d rather smoke the WPM.

Its pricey but safe, Trifecta Crop Control is organic and can be used the day of harvest to control bud rot and WPM.
I grow my own so I know that bad chemicals have never touched my girls!
nznene do some studies on that spray and see if thats something you want in your diet!

Air flow is critical for our girls, a fan may be needed. I can also say that peroxide does not work for WPM, clipping does.

I've had enough grams of concentrate taste like sulfur, Rwise . I can't get down with anything I know has sulfur other than in regular fertilizer concentrations. Heck. For whatever reason, the GWE gods say unsulfured molasses. Lots of theories about why concentrate gets sulfurish. In the end, the shit was probably made by some illegal dispensary owner, in his apartment, from shake and other jar bottoms. Possibly, this is stuff from a handful of miles to the south where, I have it on good authority, shatter is made with acetone.

Anyway. Yeah. I vote no sulfur. Where do I vote?

I dont think I would like the taste of rotten eggs in my shit either. I have heard of burning sulfur around your plants, I dont do that, and certainly should not be done in flower. I ask and dont remember the answer to unsulfured molasses, I dont know where one would find "sulfured" its not on the shelves here. Sulfur is good for the soil, and our girls do use some, things like "Terpinater"(SP) are sulfur and potash! 2 years ago I took a soil sample to my local AG center for testing, PH was 8.4 they said all else was good, add sulfur!
