    Harvest Seeds or?

I’m sure I should harvest my seeds today but only a few have really big packs. All the hairs have turned amber and I plucked a seed from the bottom which was small but regular size and a seed pack from the top which took some
good pressure to get out of the seed pack but it was big with a few tiger stripes.

I tested them before allowing them to dry and they sank in the cup of water. I did a 12hr germination test and they failed?

its been 24 hours now and I’m curious what you all think?

I soaked the seeds for 12 hours prior to germination test.

Seeds need to dry for a few weeks before you pop them. You might get a couple to go but not many that's why plants drop seeds in the fall so they can dry through the winter before they grow

So should I pull my plant and let it dry and then pluck the seeds?

I have sprouts under 1 of my girls now, she dropped a lot on the ground before I took her buds.

Rwise when I was growing in the great outdoors (hidden in the hills) I would go visit once a month or so and I would find more than one plant sometimes. Sometimes we forget that MJ is a weed because of all the work we put into them

Sometimes its better to plant very fresh seeds directly in your medium without pre-soaking first. Try a seed or 2. Fresh seeds have a lot of moisture and soaking can cause them to rot
If you bend you will be less likely to break.

What do you think from the looks of my plants?

I did put it outside to get that intense full spectrum light and a natural breeze.

Your picture of the bud looks good, maybe a little too much nitrogen for the budding stage. I like to let my seeds stay in the buds until the bud has been harvested and allowed to dry out to smoking dryness. Then i remove the seeds and allow them to dry for a week or so then store them in a cool, dry spot. If you plant those seeds soon (within 1-2 weeks) there will be no need to soak them in water before planting. If you keep them stored for a few months or longer, then soaking may help them germinate sooner.

Soaking the seed is so it takes on moisture, once sunk they are full and ready to go. No need to soak a seed thats fresh, you can drown them.
