Thank you for confirming that some issues look so similar 😊

Remember to give it a cal mag supplement also. With rain water you don’t have calcium or iron in it. â˜ș
Just because people are over 50 doesn’t mean they know everything.
You can teach a old dog new tricks - But it will still think the old ways are the “best” lol

Few things... looks like a ph Issue, but how did you collect the rain water? Roof/Gutter system collection comes with containment’s and bad bacteria that can cause issues like this too. Also, how long did the rain water remain stagnant before feeding the plants? Stagnant water is a perfect breeding ground for bad bacteria.
why not use regular tap water?

No problem. Might want to check the run off water for ph too. If ph was an issue, a simple flush can bring things back to normal.
But you need to know the ph in the soil. Take note of the ph going in, and the ph coming out.
Let us know what you find.

Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate. Cal - mag is magnesium and calcium. A little different.

It’s ph neutral... I believe it’s a buffer too. It might help if ph is the issue. You really need to know the ph in the soil... because if the ph range is good the Epsom salt won’t kill off bad bacteria.

Thank you...do you know of a decent organic form of cal mag?

I never use cal mag. Plenty of calcium in tap water. And my nutes have magnesium. So no need for a soil grower like me.
I use earth worm castings as a ph buffer. Never had any issues.

Earth worm castings seem to have done the trick 🙂👍
