Never saw the movie, myself bboyfromwayback . It came at the end of a horror film phase I went through with a buddy. I got to see a bit of 'Pieces.' My dad was a medical photographer. I grew up with seeing images of surgeries, autopsies, the medically eponymous conjoined twin fetuses. I began finding the movies unreal and predictable.
My horror film phase ended after a 24 hour marathon of movies like, 'Dawn of the Dead.' I can't remember a single other one. 24 hours is way past my bed time. And a pound of peanut M&M's is not proper sustenance for a 12 year old at 2:00 in the morning. I still don't know how a couple of 12 year olders were able to get into something like that.
The marathon was the 'WDIMF and CCR' World Drive-in Movie Festival and Custom Car Rally. Two things were wrong with that title. The movies were inside and there weren't any custom cars rallied anywhere. Put on by Joe Bob Briggs.
Geez, the things a body remembers. I still don't like peanut M&M's.
