    FIM or No?

I have tried both techniques and always seem to get more “tops” but the buds are real airy and the plants I leave alone usually have big dense buds.

I only too when I’m height restricted and FiM all my soil plants (just force of habit) but none of my DWC plants have any technique applied. I will be LST for sure and unsure if I will be topping or fimming these ladies.

i was curious on everyone’s experience with Topping and or Fimming and if I should fim or too my healthy flourishing ladies?

    Thanks in advance!

Personally I don't see a point in trying to FIM your plants, topping is way easier and it works every time. As far as the airy buds, that probably has more to do with a lack of light or a light that isn't very strong. Not really sure there cause you didn't mention your setup, but mine were airy and didn't produce a lot until I upgraded my lights.

The blurple light that's roughly 130-150W actual? You have to have those way closer than recommended, at least I did. I had 2 of them in my 4x4 at one point and they did ok but I had them at maybe 18"
