So the wife thinks she wants to try some edibles to help manage the aches n pains of age. She's subject to random UAs at work so she can't have none of mine.

I have 2 autofem types that I've been meaning to make more of but haven't. I have Seedsman's Doctor Seedsman 30:1 CBD and Greenhouse Seed Company's Exodus Cheese Auto CBD. I have heard about high cbd types throwing out higher levels of thc sometimes and I would be worried about the chance of her testing positive. I would do a bit of research on reputable brands and pick up a couple of different types for her to try to make sure they are effective and that she likes it before diving into growing something but you're welcome to the seeds if she's interested and you want to take it on as a little side project.

I don't know the laws in your area but I know in alot of places where CBD is now legal it has caused a legal problem with UA laws and companies policy. Because most legal CBD has a small amount of THC people are failing UAs...My point is that being positive for THC (which is a level of the THC because everyone has THC in them from other sources) on a UA might not be an enforceable way to lose your job and if you do it could be easily destroyed in court. Check out if the laws or rules have changed in your area or workplace she might not even have to worry about THC being in her UA

Oregon law- Landlords have the right to allow or deny using and/or growing on their property & employers can refuse or terminate you for use.

NM you have to apply for a grow card separate from your Rx card and landlords have to sign off if you can't prove you own your home. Because MJ is still Rx only I'm not sure about employers. I'm thinkin it's the same as other Rx. I know in trucking that DOT regulates drug testing and has a list of drugs not allowed.
Maybe she could ask her employer if CBD and or MJ is allowed since it's legal in Or. I seem to recall I don't remember the state but that someone was fired for a dirty UA and sued because it was legal in their state and a company lost because they couldn't tell an employee what they could do away from work.

But that was specifically stated in the laws & bylaws & etc when it passed so 😑
