After several seasons of use my trimming scissors are beyond sharpening any longer and have basically become benders now, I've been using a pair like the one pictured with no complaints but I thought I'd put it out there to see what some of you prefer and why. I like a pointed profile because it allows me to get into those tight areas for leaf trimming. they're also pretty easy to clean when they get caked with resin. Which reminds me; what do you use to clean your trimmers? I use acetone on scrub pads.

These are my weapons of choice. I've had the trimmer bowl for 3 seasons and have yet to clean it, likely wont happen this year either. It's still sharp and does an amazing job. I like the spring loaded scissors, helps a lot with hand fatigue when trimming down a lot at a time. I let my scissors soak in rubbing alcohol then wipe clean after scraping the bulk with another pair, then use the fresh pair till they wont spring open anymore. I also help trim a friends big garden and this setup has never let me down.

I like those, Looks a lot more ergonomic than my mustache trimmer. I use mine for daily maintenance as well as final trim. I have been considering getting a bowl trimmer as well. I anticipate about 4 times the amount of my usual harvest and have been doing some research on hand crank bowl options. Thanks Smerft.

You are very welcome. I got mine off Amazon, it was $89 U.S. 3 years ago, they are a little more now but worth every penny. You might be able to find the bowl with a free pair of scissors like mine too.
