Hey Spader, welcome to the forum. Do you have one of those hand-help microscopes to see the trichomes up close? That's really the best way to tell if your buds are ready.

They look nice n sticky icky, I don't see a lot of pistils, but I saw some brown/red ones. It may be a small harvest, but it can still be real sweet!!!

Get a loop cheaper than scope

Ill second the loop for starters.Under 2$ and works with any/most cameras as a lens to get pics!I got a 20-40x Microscope and its damn hard trying to keep it still even without smoking!!

Looks like you are off to a great start. You will have some bud and some frosty leaf material for some butter or oil. Great to see people with the 'just do it' attitude.

what I have learned so far:
      environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

Flush with black strap molasses for a week and they will fatten up a little. Just like humans do with sugar lol. You need to get a loupe on the trichromes for a closer look, it's hard to tell in the pics but it looks close.

Hi spader, I would flush and chop asap if I were you. The sugar leaves are starting to yellow, and I see lots of opaque trichomes from what I can see. If you can, get a macro lens for your camera and get some close ups of the calyxes, not the sugar leaves and check the trichs.

Target has an organic brand or your local health food store. My leaves start yellowing around week 7 also but i get a nice dark sugar coating from the flush!

Hey man,i wasn't following cause i was busy, nice to see you got your first harvest!!Make sure to follow GWE's guide on drying them and curing them before you smoke that beautiful first bud of yours!!
As i said,i wasn't following, may i ask what strain this is? Im looking at the buds in the pictures above and i was wondering how damn fat they would be if you did more right move in this grow, they do seem small but so fat,i mean fluffy, puffy!!Good to have YOUR own weed mate, enjoy the satisfaction and welcome again!!

Ok Spader, that may very well be one of the main reasons why she was so small--cuz you didn't give her nutrition, minerals, etc. You didn't fatten her up.
