I've got a Jilly Bean who is pretty much done. She's still drinking & about 10-15% amber. Thing is when I rough her up or pick a dead leaf she smells bad. Smells like she's gonna taste nasty too & the smell sticks to my fingers. Gotta use b soda & vinegar to get it off. Is more flushing gonna fix this or should I compost the whole damn thing?

What kind of bad? Cheap canned dog food bad? Salmonella? Dumpster juice? If it's that off-putting, you could always make edibles out of it. I wish Jillybean regs would get restocked because I'd like to try it. I wound up ordering Cindy 99 regs instead.Coconut Grove

I got it figured out. It's the result of improper watering. Not enough runoff left nute residue in my dirt- maybe even in pockets of high concentration. When I flooded the shit outta her all that gunk got moving & she picked it up in the feeding. The salt in the molasses picked up the oils & is washing them out. I can smell the orange now- it still smells bad but soooooooo much better. Hopefully she'll drink at least once more. 2 would probably bring her back.
