I have been growing longer than I like to admit but this one has me stumped. I had 2 plants begin flower early this year. (Outdoor container grow) I was okay with that, however it did temper my expectations for them. Then, about 10 days ago one of them began growing massive amounts of 1&2 leaf sprouts all over the tops of the colas. The secondary buds lower on the branches have continued to develop normally. I went out today to see if I could do some creative trimming but unfortunately I found one branch about 21 inches long had already split away from the main stem at the node. This has been a very delicate plant when it came to training so I've had to be very gentle with it. I removed the branch and patched up the gash best I could. It has an intense pine smell with a hint of citrus. This is my first experience with a plant re-vegging and am at a loss as to why it occurred to this one and not the other. Same soil, same amount of sunshine, same nutrients. Are any of you aware of a way to get it to stop vegging and go back to flower. I'm not sure of the plant's genetics but based on the pine and citrus smell I'm thinking it could be Madman OG or Super Glue. Currently at 14/10 light and I am considering bringing in a little early each night for more dark time. Right now that's all I can think of to nip this in the bud. (Really bad pun and I apologize but I'm a dad.) I've included a pic of one of the branches and one of the entire plant. Any thoughts or ideas are welcome and appreciated. Thanks

Maybe a huge cardboard box/container or two/three duct taped together. I use large boxes for my outdoor plants in early spring to sex them before transplanting into larger containers. This way only gals get the special treatment. Just be consistent with the photoperiod and it might work. Or haul that puppy back and forth if your back can handle it! Maybe rig up a furniture rolling board on casters. And no nitrogen. Have fun.

I should say no extra nitrogen. They look like they they have plenty of nitrogen available in the soil already. The focus should be the P&K.

14/12s? 14/10s! If you want then to flower cut the light to 12/12s (some will flower under longer light hours). Some of my girls flowered early, and we are trying a double crop from them, no reveg here.
