    Pot Size Help

I'm attempting a sea of green style micro grow in a 18" x 30" x 36" tent. The "Mini Grow" tutorial recommends using Air Pots less than two gallons in size, however the "How Many Plants Should I Grow" tutorial suggests that a two gallon pot is the minimum size to avoid issues and goes further to say that when using Air Pots you need to double the pot size. Any help to resolve this seemingly contradictory instruction would be greatly appreciated!
A mini grow tent is surprisingly stealthy and grows a significant amount of cannabis (without a lot of electricity). Curious about growing weed? Start here!

OK have you bought your auto seeds yet and choose the strain wisely do to height first. Get dwarfs what i'd do. These were autos done in 51oz plastic coffee cont. with 20 or so holes put in them. You would need to LST maybe and train lower. Small can work you just need to pay good attention to the plants.

1 3x3x6 tent- used in late spring for seedlings both veggies & weed. I have 2 viparspectar 450r for that tent.
    I use a t-5 & 54watt CFL for seedlings
Sometimes i use plastic sometimes i use fabric grow containers

If you are doing true sea of green then you would use smaller pots and veg for shorter. The bigger the pot the bigger the plant will be but it takes longer for the plant to fill out the larger pot. The whole purpose of sea of green is to not spend time growing the plant out and training it but to fill the tent with lots of small pots. Unfortunately i have never used air pots, but i use fabric pots. If i were ever to do SOG i would use 1 or 2 gal fabric pots. But having a tent that small will be challenging, especially if you are not a seasoned grower.

Just a thought.... I haven't grown in an area like this but thinking about it I personally would get 3-5 gallon fabric pots and cut them in half giving you a good volume of dirt without the height the roots would hit the bottom and spread out. PLEASE understand I'm not an expert and I'm just putting this out there as a thought but this is what I would try
