How to fully flush without drowning

Thanks for the help guys. I did another small flush and disregarded any nutrients for now. I'll be observing her progress. Good thing she's a photo, I've had a few stumbles along the way but I suppose that's all apart of learning. I appreciate everyone's advice

Listen to Canuck147 and Mr.furley. If your flushing to correct an issue, just flush it with some florakleen and pH'd water. OR lots of pH'd water. (I think when furley helped me out he suggested ph of 6-6.2) dont add any other nutes until that pot dries out. Then you can ease back into your nutes and find out where your problems are coming from.. Im just looking at your profile and between the MiracleGro soil and the Expert Gardener Plant Food..thats pretty large amounts of nitrogen. Good luck, she should rebound nicely.

Here's a link to how to flush because yes you need to flush with nutes or you will starve your girl and you should move your light up to help her. Here it's better if you go here I'll forget something important man..... good luck

Yes that is the whole idea - then you can let it dry out and start anew.

I only added 1/3 gallon of that 50% P-K solution. I thought by flushing you're rinsing ALL nutrients out leaving the plant with nothing. :/

Drowning happens when you water to often not how much you use in a single watering. When you water wait until she's dry or light however you decide works for you, water with enough water that you get about 20% runoff that helps her from salt (plant poop lol) buildup in the roots.
good luck, and she's a pretty lady

Yep it's good to let them dry light as air almost. My plastic get so light with my mix. I write it down and have to look always, kinda forgetful

For a serious emergency flush I put em in the tub & run 20-50gal through with the shower head then ph'd cal mag to fill the pot. Dry em out & give molasses or rootguard.

Thanks Mr.furley. I flushed with 12 gal of water and on my last dump I used 50% dosage of my Flower fuel. Should I use any CalMag? My solution has 2 percent nitrogen in it so I'm not sure if thats a good idea

When you're done let your pot dry out for a couple days completely this will solve your over-watering problem.

Here we go! Thanks for your help gius I really appreciate it. I'll update in a bit. This will also give me a chance to measure runoff pH so all seems well.1 Photo
