HELP! Rookie with a dark green claw

This is my 4th round but I'm new here so plz bare with... I'm 41 days into flower everything was great until now. If you look at my pic the larger fan leaves are darker around the edges and have claws. My recent changes are I stopped the veg food gave half last week and zero this week 1st water without yesterday hoping I'd wake up to an improvement because my first thought was N burn. This is my 1st experience with bembe started 4 weeks ago which is worm poo and molasses. I noticed that on FF site it says bembe every other water but the schedule card I got with FF 3 doesn't say to skip..... or it a natural response from the plants because of stopping veg food. Oh yeah the girls just started stacking on about the same timing as I normally get just the fans have never done this to me before

    soil. Happy frog
    food.... fox farm 3. liquid
    big bloom. 0 - 0.5 - 0.7. 5ml/gallon since change to flower
I went to a 1/3 dose of big bloom at beginning of flower because I'm running low and I'm changing food next grow didn't want to spend $30 for a new bottle just to use a cup out of it
grow big. 6 - 4 - 4. CHANGED half dose last week then STOPPED this week as per fox schedule
    tiger bloom 2- 8 -4. Started at flower 10ml / gallon
bembe. Sweet n dandy 0 - 1 - 3. Started 2 weeks ago 15ml / gallon (new to me thought it would add some sweet and bulk)

My plan unless someone has a better idea is on my next water use only ph water but water lite see if things improve if they do yay if not add food minus the bembe then wait but hell by then I might be at harvest I only have 1 - 3 weeks unless this stalls it.......

    Thanks in advance

Dark leaves are usually associated with a nitrogen toxicity.

I don't think they like the soil and the nutes together. Look rather like toxic overload from the leaf colors. I would stop the nutes and flush now allow to dry.

I would flush with just plain ph water. Are you alternating your waters from nutes to plain water every other time?

I'm still a rookie so I don't know how to say always when it's only 4 times lol... I always feed at every water because I use my nutes at 1/2 strength and have never had a problem. This is my 1st time using bembe ( molasses). Green thumb below said molasses eats nitrogen and with my leaves getting lighter in the middle the leaves were as dark as the edges until now plus they clawed. I'm now thinking that it could be a nitrogen shortage. Any thoughts?

You might try black strap molasses 3 Tablespoons per gallon of water, this is said to eat Nitrogen from the soil.

I didn't know molasses ate nitrogen the bembe is molasses... do you think that stopping my veg nutes could be causing a nitrogen shortage? . leaves are getting lighter they were the color of the edges. The timing sure is right

Hey MeEasy, is that pic under normal lights? or under your grow lights?

        #6
I can't answer that 100% honestly but it looks the same my overhead lights are cheap household led lights and my grow light is a sf2000.
the leaves started changing as soon as I stopped the veg nutes so for about a week and a half I've only fed with FOX farm tiger bloom 2 - 8 - 4 and bembe 0 - 1 - 3 👈(molasses and worm shlt) all at 1/2 strength...... my thoughts now after researching for two days is that it's a normal reaction in mid flower for fan leaves to change. The thing I'm concerned about though is the fact that they are clawing down. Also in the two days since my original post they're not as droopy looking but I'll have to water tomorrow. Oh yeah and the buds are still strong and stacking beautifully
