    Plants wilted bad after watering!!

Hi all, 2 of my 5 plants wilted severely after I watered them. Gave them all the same amount of water. What happened? Someone told me they look underwatered

Pots look quite dry - after watering? Do you get a run off of water from the pots after watering?

I do not get runoff. Ill be honest, I started growing with coco and couldn’t do it. I was told it’s “impossible” to overwater coco yet i managed. So now i’m scared of overwatering. I’m infused as to how I can water enough where there is runoff yet it’s not overwatering. I’m using 5 gal fabric pots

water till 10 to 20% runoff and then let dry completely. Then repeat. You will not over water if your coco mix has good enough drainage and you let it dry completely. The best test is the lift test. If your pots are still heavy dont water. What i assume you were doing is continuously watering without letting it dry which did not give the roots a chance to breathe and search for water. Just because one dude said it was impossible doesnt mean that they are right. If you know what you are doing then yes it might be impossible to over water, but if you dont then it's actually really easy.

It's gonna be OK. When i first water new soil it runs away goes off to the sides. Take a water bottle 16oz pour it from that all around the outside leaf diameter pour very slowly to see it sink into the medium. If you pour very slowly at first the medium expands and accepts the water. Just pour slowly as you can measure it out with that bottle know how much it takes watch see if it runs out bottom.

Lift your pots. If they feel light, water until they get heavy and possibly even a little runoff. Let dry for maybe 2-3 days and check the weight again. Usually it's pretty hard to over water this way unless you have a sensitive plant.

They kinda do look thirsty. Are those 5 gal pots? I just watered all my girls tonight(5 gal fiber pots), last water was 4 days ago. I gave them all about 1 gallon of water, till run-off.(wanted to check Ph out anyway) i wont bother checking them for another three days or so. Also..some strains are really picky..nutes,water,light, its hard to keep everybody happy sometimes.
