TDS and EC range for soil

I have a question to pose i am looking for the range for TDS (total dissolved solvents) and EC (electro-condutivity) for soil. Read through the forums and it touches on these subjects but i have not seen an actual chart or anything. Thanks in advance.

My TDs speaks ppm's not Ec tho their is a math formula someplace

To get an EC value, multiply the ppm reading by 2 and divide by 1000.

Thus, if your EC is 1:

    1*1000/2= 500 ppm.

And if your ppm is 500:

    500*2/1000= 1 EC is typical

Becoming professional growers cannot ignore pH. Maintaining steady pH and PPM levels is crucial to a successful grow.

Soil is a solid, dissolved solids are suspended in water. Are you talking about the feed water?
Now EC can be measured in soil. Mine averages around 1.8 DS/m.
