    Help with pests

    Hi guys,

I am growing my first successful LSD from barney farms and so far it’s 7 weeks old and going pretty well.
i only gave it fertiliser 3 times but I noticed that there is white spots on my leaves and I did see black and yellow bugs that I remove on site by hand, but I was told that if there is an infestation then my plant could be in trouble, especially as it should be flowering soon.
any advise on what I can do just to be on the safe side without harming my plant?
i may also have a deficiency of some kind causing the spots. They are only on the bottom leaves and a little further up. I will attach pictures of the fert I used and closeups of the leaves for your most valued advice.
Maybe it’s the LED light setup?
I am new to this so please advise on the white spots and my setup.
please note that the lights are on from 2am till 6pm, but I live in a warm country and take it out on my balconies almost daily for sun, and that is the source of my pests.
but I have no choice as the led lights are not enough to permeate the plant.

I would use neem meal tea once a week along with aloe Vera that should keep pests away. Soap nuts are good to water the plants with aswell they all help with pests.

Cali Can’t seem to find neem tea or oil where I am. I will continue looking and order it online if need be, but was curious if the tea tree oil and lavender works?

i found this attached in the pic. Will it work?

Not sure if that can be sprayed on plants but lavender flower will work for sure that’s something I use aswell. I put 1/4 cup lavender flower in one litter of water then let it soak for 48 hrs strain it then water the leafs over and under till it’s soaked like the leafs are drooping looking like it’s dying but it’s not. You can always go to the store and buy mint or rosemary or thyme and do the same thing except with these herbs I try to liquify them and after a couple days strain it well and same thing spray the leafs. Do this every 2-3 days in case there are eggs that will hatch but with lavender and rosemary the eggs should melt. Also Neemresource.com is where I get mine best quality and price.

Read the pest control articles on this site. Tons of good info, lots of options. Neem is pretty foolproof.

Thank you very much for the valuable advice. Lavender, mint etc.. are household herbs, natural and I can’t see them causing any harm to the plant..
I did buy an organic insect killer before I read your post and am wondering if it would be suitable? Since I already bought it.

Go ahead and try it, but if not you can’t go wrong with those other herbs I mentioned.
