My first legal grow is drying.

Today, I hacked down the nine square foot jungle I created in my basement. Skywalker OG & Bruce Banner produced the most and grew the tallest. Tallness was everything in this loony setup because the shorter tentmates disappointed with Black Widow making lots of little tops and the purples not making much at all.

Takeaway number one is that six plants in that tent was silly. Also, I couldn't have kept that many of them alive without the upgrade to the new LED. Plant training might have helped but there wasn't space to work in that crowd. A first for me with this crop is seeing purple in my buds. Oddly, it was in Bruce Banner.

Tomorrow I get to put the new tent and new RDWC together and start a more sensible grow.

Here's a few pics of it temporarily hanging in my wife's recently vacated seedling tent. (She grows normal food crops, BTW) The biggest of the Bruce Banners had to be hung on the door of one of our upstairs rooms for lack of room in that tiny tent. Black Widow might have been a great producer with that branch structure. All she needed was some room. I stripped most of the underdeveloped stuff I would have pinched off weeks ago if I could have gotten to them - it's all in the freezer waiting to made into magic coconut oil.

Tomorrow I will be moving the whole mess back into their tent they grew in to finish drying now that it's clean enough. A dinner engagement tonight prevented me from doing much else with them. The branches have color-coded cable ties helping me keep track of what strain they are.

Congratulations, UF!!!! I'm helping a friend right now whose eyes were bigger than his lungs; he's got around 17 plants in soil in a space that should have around 8 plants; his first indoor grow. Your harvest looks awesome.

It's pretty amazing to see the difference between the plants that make it into the sweet spot in the light, and the ones that don't...

Thanks. I've got them all back in the tent they were raised in to dry. RH is around 80% here. I'm tempted to try a food dehydrator.

Wow! So he popped at least 17 seeds on his first go? I should talk, but wow. I'm so overstocked on seed right now, I could be tempted to try a mass germination. The new 4x4 tent looked so huge inside after I got it put together that I had to remind myself to put in no more than six on a normal grow and no more than eight in there ever.

I love seeing a happy harvester enjoy. It's a lot of work and attention on those 6-8 photos in 1 tent. Gotta crawl into the tent to reach and check em good. For me I just keep going with 4 photos at a time and now autos you could do a lot in a 4x4 in 2-3gal pots.

Thanks. That 3x3 was just too small for that grow! It only had front access too. The new one has side access and way more space. Not being able to reach in and work in that jungle cost me a bunch of bud for sure. That Bruce Banner had better be stupidly good!
